USC Trojans Aaron Corp Injured

Although penciled in as the USC Trojans’ No. 1 QB, Aaron Corp will miss one to two weeks with a “crack in the head of his left fibula” according to ESPN.

Corp was hurt Monday when a lineman rolled into his knee, though he missed only a few plays before returning to practice.

"This is an unfortunate setback for Aaron but we're encouraged by the diagnosis and that he's going to return quickly," Trojans coach Pete Carroll said in a statement.

It was eerily reminiscent of a knee injury former USC quarterback Mark Sanchez suffered on the exact same day of fall camp last online nfl betting season, which sidelined him for several weeks. Sanchez returned to start the season opener against Virginia.

USC has plenty of talent to beat San Jose State, but the key is the Ohio State game.  It was going to be a hard fought match with everybody healthy, so it might be best to just rest Corp to make sure he is ready to go for the Buckeyes.

Corp suffered the injury on practice Monday and his spot on the first-team offense will be taken by Matt Barkley.
