Let's Get LOST In NFL Season Predictions
These are not a listing of characters from most important to least important, but I tried to pair each team up with a Lostie who represented their personality. Hopefully each one makes sense, but if you have any questions ask.
AFC Predictions: (in order of projected finish)
16) Oakland Raiders: Daniel Faraday

Just like owner Al Davis, Faraday is one of the more eccentric characters on the show. He thinks he knows what he is doing, but he is not exactly correct in his assessment. I see a poor season ahead for the Raiders as I do not think they have the overall talent to compete, although they may be exciting to watch at times.
15) Cincinnati Bengals: Leslie Artz
The Bengals think they have everything figured out and know what they are doing, but my guess is it will explode in their face (much like Artz and his knowledge of dynamite).
14) Denver Broncos: Roger Linus

The moves the Broncos have made over the offseason make many fans think top management is drunk all the time. Nobody really liked to watch Roger on the screen, as he was likely to mess something up, and I foresee the same thing happening to the Broncos.
13) Buffalo Bills: Jin Kwon

The Bills (like Jin) are hard to understand this season. They signed TO thinking they can compete, but can they really, especially in the AFC East? Maybe they will surprise and do something great, but most likely they will have a difficult time communicating and TO will blow up mid season.
12) Cleveland Browns: Sun Kwon
Without trying, the husband and wife end up side by side. The Browns are represented by Sun because not much is expected of them, but they could possibly surprise (especially if Edwards gets rid of his brick hands and Quinn is a solid QB). I think they will have an average season and will have a promising outlook on next season at the end of the year.
11) New York Jets: Libby Smith
Just when you think the Jets are going to matter, Favre leads and they are basically dead this season. Sanchez could be the QB of the future, but I think it will take him a year or two to adjust.
10) Houston Texans: Michael Dawson
The Texans always look like the good guys and the trendy pick to be the heroes, but they always betray you. I think again they fall short of the playoffs, although Andre Johnson will have his moments of brilliance.
9) Kansas City Chiefs: Frank Lapidus

I believe that the Chiefs this year will be the team that shows up part way through the season and has a huge upset, but goes away for a few weeks, only to come back later and be relevant again, and possibly alter the way the season turns out. With Cassel at the helm, will he prove to be a good QB or a product of the Pat's system?
8) Jacksonville Jaguars: Paulo
Like their counterpart the Bucs (Nikki) , the Jags will be somewhat relevant for a short time but then disappear and few will really wonder how they got there in the first place. I expect the Jags to be the team that has a semi successful season but does not get much attention.
7) Miami Dolphins: Sawyer
They are not the leaders of the East, but they are waiting in the wings in case the Patriots fall. They are tough, hardnosed and have a few tricks up their sleeves in the wildcat offense. I would not be surprised either way how their season goes.
6) Baltimore Ravens: Mr. Eko
The Ravens, in my opinion, are still the toughest team in the league. They will face every team and stare them down (like Eko and the black smoke) and will not back down. Will they win every battle? Unlikely, but they will not back down. I think their toughness gets them back into the postseason.
5) Tennesse Titans: Christian Shepard
Several Losties saw Shepard after he died, alive. However, was he real, a figment of their imagination of Esau masquerading as him? Are the Titans the team they showed last year or will they prove to be a mirage? I think they have some real talent there, but I do not think they put together quite the season they did last year.
4) Indianapolis Colts: Jack Shepard
Are the Colts the real leaders of the AFC or are they merely pawns? I think it is a bit harsh to call them pawns, but I think that while they think they are in charge, there are a few teams ahead of them who have more power than they do.
3) San Diego Chargers: Juliet Burke
The Chargers are as hard to figure out as Juliet. Is she hot or not? Are they good enough to contend or not? There are more questions with this team than there are answers. However, in a weak division, I think they have enough weapons to win the division.
2) New England Patriots: Kate Austen
The sexy pick to win it all, the Pats are a favorite of NFL fans to watch and admire. They have a great offense and an adequate enough defense to help them make another push for a Super Bowl.
1) Pittsburgh Steelers: Jacob

Until I find out otherwise, Jacob is the leader of the island and the Steelers are the leaders of the NFL.
Playoff Predictions:
#3 Chargers over #6 Ravens
#5 Titans over #4 Colts
#1 Steelers over #5 Titans
#3 Chargers over #2 Patriots
#3 Chargers over #1 Steelers
NFC Predictions: in projected order of finish
#16) Detroit Lions: Vincent
Yes, my first comparison is to a dog, because I think that is what the Lions are this year. They will again struggle and I would not be surprised to see them end up with the #1 selection in the 2010 draft.
#15) St. Louis Rams: Desmond Hume
Just like Desmond is able to do, the Rams want to be able to flashback to the earlier part of the decade, when they had a solid team. People think that the Rams are a bit crazy, just like some people feel about Desmond. Just like Desmond's life, the Ram's season will be very turbulent.
#14) Tampa Bay Bucs: Nikki Fernandez
Just like Nikki, the Bucs will be there, but nobody will really notice them when they are around or realize or care when they are gone quicker than they arrrived.
#13) San Fransisco 49ers: Ana Lucia
Singeltary and the Niners play by their own rules, like Ana Lucia, which often ends up badly. Although they will show signs of greatness at times, the Niners have shown they do not really trust their teammates, which will lead to the death of their season.
#12) Washington Redskins: Charlie Pace
Charlie was one of the popular people on the show, but he often screwed up when people were relying on him. The Redskins are often the trend pick to make the playoffs, but often fail when it comes down to crunch time. Maybe they will man up like Charlie did at the end of his time, but I believe they will fail once again and have a mediocre season.
#11) New Orleans Saints: Sayid Jarrah
The Saints are cold blooded killers on offense, but have weaknesses (like defense) much like Sayid's weakness in women. They look like world beaters and heroes at times, but their biggest weakness comes out at crucial times that lead to poor results.
#10) Seattle Seahawks: Rose Nadler
Rose is there and most fans really have no opinion on them. The Seahawks never do anything great, but they never do anything poorly. They are the epitome of a mediocre team who really has little effect on the outcome of everything.
#9) Dallas Cowboys: Claire Littleton
The Cowboys (and Claire) are an enigma and a polarizing figure. Some people love them but many others have poor opinions of them. Just when you think that they are going to do something great, they disappear into the woods, not to be heard of until next season.
#8) MInnesota Vikings: Shannon Rutherford
With the Vikings not able to land Favre, they are no longer a valid threat to be relevant in the season. They may have their brief moment in the sun, but likely they will end up fading away to be forgotten.
#7) Carolina Panthers: Ethan Rom
You can't tell whether the Panthers are good or bad until it is too late. You will fall into their trap and trust them as a playoff contender, but they will turn their back on you and show you that they are a fraud. They will look nice in the beginning, but by the end they will show their true colors.
#6) Green Bay Packers: Miles Straume
You won't see the importance of Miles or the Packers until near the end of the season. They will fly under the radar as a seemingly unimportant part of the season, but will prove to be one of the most prominent characters by the end of the season.
#5) New York Giants: Benjamin Linus
What are the Giants true colors underneath the surface? How will they react to some of the offseason issues and moves? There are more questions than answers withe Giants, just like Linus. They could easily prove to be the leaders of the NFC, but I see them falling back and playing second fiddle to someone much larger.
#4) Atlanta Falcons: Walt Lloyd
The Falcons were the young surprise last season and Matt Ryan was a great newcomer. The Falcons look to grow up this season and play a bigger role in the league. I believe that they have done enough to mature and be contenders in the NFC.
#3) Chicago Bears: John Locke
The Bears looked dead until the picked up Jay Cutler in the offseason. Now they are one of the main contenders in the NFC and could hold the key to how the whole season plays out. Will they rule the NFC or will they just coast through the season, not making a difference? It is their choice. I think they succeed>
#2) Arizona Cardinals: Hurley Reyes
Almost everyone roots for the Cardinals to do well. They have a lovable team withe guys like Warner and Fitzgerald and look to hit the lottery again and cash in for millions. But will their victory last year be a curse or will they be able to avoid it? In such a weak division, I think they feast on the other teams and make themselves fat.
#1) Philadelphia Eagles: Richard Alpert
The Eagles could be the key to everything this season in the NFC. They have made some key moves in gaining Jason Peters and Jeremy Maclin, but they have had some losses as well. I think the McNabb and Westbrook prove to be ageless and once again lead the Eagles to victory in the NFC.
Playoff Predictions:
#6 Green Bay over #3 Chicago
#5 New York over #4 Atlanta
#1 Philly over #6 GB
#5 New York over #2 Arizona
#1 Philly over #5 New York
Super Bowl prediction
San Diego over Philly

You got a 9, you would've gotten a 10 but you had the Giants losing to Philly.
