Sport Polls are not something that is new, but they are something that is seen more of today with sports fans participating in them on sports websites and sports communities online. When a sports poll is taken it is a question of interest with multiple answers, one of which is chosen by each person who takes the poll and once the poll is closed the answers are tabulated to find which of three, four, five or more answered can be used an applied to answer this poll. While the polls can be anything, they can be on a subject that is near and dear the sports fans heart, for example which NFL teams will make it to the Superbowl and for choices it may be the Green Bay Packers, the Dallas Cowboys, the Pittsburgh Steelers or none of these teams.

In the old days if a sports fan participated in a sports poll they had to wait at least until the next issue if not longer to read the results. Poll results that could be heard faster were ones on radio sports channels, however there is nothing like being able to see the poll as its being taken and watching the results as the mount up.
