Mauer has been bothered by a sore hip flexor, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

It won't keep him from catching and hasn't seemed to effected him at the plate. He's 4 for 8 with a double. Mauer suffered the injury during the play-in game against the Tigers on Tuesday.
