	Lewis has sustained his third concussion of the season, going down during the 49ers' game against Atlanta early in the third quarter trying to tackle Michael Turner. Lewis, who sustained two concussions during an 11-day span in the preseason, could be sidelined for a prolonged period.He led with his helmet on the hit Sunday and was face down on the field for several minutes while being examined. He eventually sat up and was helped off the field, appearing dazed. Athletic trainers ran a series of tests on Lewis as he sat on the sideline.

	For the first time in 33 months, Vick took a few snaps and even showed a flash of his old dazzling style on Sunday. Vick put the finishing touches on the Philadelphia Eagles' 33-14 win over Tampa Bay, playing the final two series and shaking off a hard hit to his ribs. Except for blowouts, Vick likely won't get many more shots at running the offense in Philadelphia. Donovan McNabb isn't going anywhere unless he's hurt and Kevin Kolb stepped in the last two games and threw for over 300 yards in two straight starts.

	Vrabel caught a 1-yard touchdown pass from Matt Cassel on Sunday, giving him 11 receptions for 11 touchdowns in his 13-year career. Vrabel lined up on the left side on third-and-goal and was ignored by the Dallas defense as he drifted into the end zone. He easily made the catch, giving the winless Chiefs a 10-0 lead in the second quarter. Two of Vrabel's touchdown catches came in the postseason with the New England Patriots, who traded him to Kansas City this year.

	Mitchell was carted off the field after hurting his right leg early in the second quarter against Cleveland. Mitchell was hurt when he was bowled over by two Browns linemen while attempting to tackle running back Jerome Harrison on a sweep left on Sunday. Mitchell lay on the field for several minutes and was unable to put any weight on his right leg as he was lifted onto the cart. The Bills had no update on Mitchel's status.

The 49ers are going to give him time to get assimilated. Backup quarterback Alex Smith is impressed with Crabtree's desire to learn as much as he can in a short time. "He is always coming over and asking questions," Smith said. "He takes advantage of the opportunities and sticks with us every chance. He wants to pick up what he can."
