How much u think Joe Mauer's contract will be? Ive heard that he is going to be one of the highest paid players in baseball. Can the Twins afford him?

he's deff the best catcher in baseball hands down, maybe even the best hitter in baseball...but I don't think the twins will be able to afford him.....it's to bad cuz he's the face of that team and maybe all of minnesota

Yea im from Minnesota and if we lost Joe Mauer that would be devastating! But Minnesota teams seem to always trade the good players.

Depends if he hits the open market or not and what kind of season he has this year. He may make around 20 million per if he reups early in Minn, otherwise he will be looking at 25+ on the open market.
