Besides many other issues. Why are baseball executives, complaning about the season finishing so late? When, for some reason you have a 5 day lay off between the division series and league champ. series. Is it me or just as little as 10 years or so ago, they had 1 day for travel and then started the next series.

10 years ago the series all didn't end 3 days before they were scheduled too. It isn't there fault the division series weren't long. You wouldn't be making this thread if the Yankees and Twins were playing game 5 tonight.

There's a long layoff because TBS has a say in when the games are scheduled. They're gonna dish out top dollar without having a concrete schedule in place.
