The Koufax comparisons have been streaming in for about a year now. The Jeter comment was new, and probably more stupid for more reasons than I care to list.

Darling or Buck said his curve ball "had just enough to get it by a hitter". He then proceeded to throw an unhittable curve ball to Ibanez. I am guessing he is somewhere in between Sandy and whatever the hell the announcers were describing.
In all seriousness, Kershaw is probably the best U-25 pitch in baseball not named Felix Hernandez.

I'm not sure how much hype a 21 year old who just put up a 2.79 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, .200 BAA and 9+K/9 in his second full season needs.
