A friend in Omaha just called me and told me that Houston Alexander was just on the radio in Omaha, Nebraska telling the local audience that he will fight Kimbo Slice on the Dec 5th undercard of the TUF Finals card.

That one should be a hand throwin war indeed!

They are two big ass dudes that love to throw the leather. It should make for an exciting fight.

Alexander said on the radio show that it will be announced tomorrow officially. (Probably once the last TUF is aired)

You're probably right. I think it will end in the first round but I don't know who I like yet.

This is a fight that should bring in a good mainstream crowd as well. Well known Slice and the bomber Alexander. I think it has fireworks written all over it.

Houston, 1st Rd KO. I can't believe it's an undercard.

I'll be surprised if Kimbo makes it 2:00. Alexander is a mad man.

And Houston has some ground game but who knows where Kimbo is at these days. Recently he's had some nice training.

I'll give it to him, he's made the most of an opportunity. I just don't think it will be enough for Alexander. But who knows, anything can happen.

Houston is actually similar IMO to Slice. Knockout thug from the hood with limited ground skill.

Just found this. Houston was on the Todd 'N Tyler Show which is a long running morning show with a couple of zany rock 'n roller's in todd and tyler and he announced the fight by using Kimbo's real name Kevin Ferguson for legal reasons. There is an audio of the interview if you desire to listen to it.

I think its pretty much set they are just waiting til the show is over to make it official. I dont like that Alexander pretty much confirmed it tho. As far as the fight, I actually think Kimbo wins. I think his hands are heavier and he has a better chin. I kno he got KOed by Seth whatever his name is but other than that he can take shots. Houston got KTFO by Irvin in what 8 sec??? Then almost got KOed by Jardine but somehow bounces back. I like Kimbo to win this

I dunno who I'd go with if I were betting this one. Both can knock each other out and neither is a ju jitsu specialist or a wrestler so perhaps they will stand and slug til someone falls. Love those kind of bouts.

one thing I see that Kimbo needs to work on but no one mentions is his accuracy. He throws all those power punches but luckliy for his opponents he doesnt connect much. I dont think he is EVER going to have a ground game that is UFC level. He can improve it but he is just too old to master it. He should just focus on his strengths. If he could focus his power he might be formidable.

He will be much better in his ground game training with American Top Team. His entire game will improve

it's all about who lands the first punch in this fight!!! i love how dana white keeps looking more and more like a fucking hypocrite...he went from saying kimbo would NEVER fight in the UFC,to saying the only way he would is if he won TUF,then now to letting him fight on TUF undercard..dana white has zero credibility to me anymore, dude is a fucking money hungry cocksucker

As the man in charge I must say it is his job. It's his job to put out the product that the people want to see regardless of his personal opinion. Would you respect him more if he said he still thinks Kimbo is a piece of shit but knows the people like to see him fight so here you go?

Either way for me. I'm just looking forward to seeing this slobberknocker!

Definitely. This is the first I'm hearing of it. This is a perfect match stylistically because they are so similar. I have to go with Kimbo. I think we will see a better Kimbo than we have ever seen before, and it will surprise a lot of people. Then again, beating Houston Alexander isn't really saying much, but it is a good start. It will be a brawl that's for sure. All it takes is one good shot from either man, and this one is over. I love it.

True enough. Won't take much from both combatants powerful striking ability to floor the other.

Kimbo never quit though and in his youtube street fights he oftens ended them bloody but standing. Alexander is one tough cookie, lot's of guys go down from knees to the head as Irvin landed. It happens! I don't think neither have a glass jaw. Keith Jardine has a glass jaw...Alexander helped expose that.
