As proven last year, James can't win one on his own so he needs help with a big man. Conversely, Shaq can't do it alone, as proven by his partnerships with Kobe and Wade. This deal works out best for both of them.

B. You see his interview on PTI today? He was adamant about his number of rings and getting enough to solidify him among the greatest names ever. As much as Shaq humors me, he's always been a very arrogant man IMO.

I didn't watch that but yeah he is very, VERY arrogant. He has his head way inside his ass. He is probably the most arrogant player in the league right now.
He's right up there. He's kinda always been that way. But I can't really blame him. He has been an extremely dominant player for a long time. He is great for the league. He's been an icon of our generation. The media worships him and feeds his ego. And he has to keep up his game face and tough pride to make up for his age.
