Haha the best player in history doesnt throw an INT with 330 left in the SB and down by 7. Nor does he get to the goal line in the divisional round down 4 and fail to complete pass w 5 min left in the game turning the ball over on downs, then get the ball bk w about 2 min and go 1-4 for 5 yds throwing a few awful passes in the mix, and again failing to make a comeback bid happen.

It happens, but this time it was in the Superbowl. Based off his individual career, I say he is the best player ever. And if anyone wants to talk about him only winning one Superbowl, I will say the Superbowl is a team effort. If you base him off a Superbowl, you can say Terry Bradshaw is the best ever.

No it doesnt just "happen", especially not more than once (the other was in the divisional game against the Chargers). He has cost his team several games in the playoffs with his awful play, or inability to finish a game.

No you cant, b/c Terry Bradshaw had awful reg season numbers. There is a mix that has to be taken into acct. And you will never hear me mention that Peyton has just 1 SB as a reason he isnt the greatest, its that Peyton has been extremely mediocre in the playoffs as a whole. Hell, during that 4 gm SB run they did have in 05 i believe he was pretty awful, his team carried him to a ring.

There is absolutely NO WAY you can justify Peyton Manning as being better than Joe Montana, its impossible. And personally, i dont think you can say he is better than Tom Brady.

Joe Montana is the best ever...Peyton is not even close.
Montana was 4-0 in the Super Bowl and 16-7 in the postseason. He threw 11 touchdowns in the NFL title games and NO interceptions, which is why he's the only player in Super Bowl history to win three MVP awards.
Tom Brady is 3-1 in the Super Bowl, with two MVP awards and currently has a postseason record of 11-4. Before his career is said and done, he may match Montana for number of Super Bowl victories and MVP awards

Yeah you sure about that? Not the few stupid analysts who were getting on the Peyton-is-god bandwagon? I'll give you five quarterbacks that have done more and I would take any day over Manning:

Joe Montana
John Elway
Johnny Unitas
Tom Brady
Dan Marino (I don't care if he never won a ring, he did everything besides that)

lol what do you meen "Done more"? Brady won more superbowls, but so did Terry Bradshaw. Tom Brady was on possibly the best team ever. Give Peyton Manning Welker, Moss, an amazing O-Line, and a great D, and then we will see. And the rest of the list is retired players, Manning didnt retire yet.

Oh come on, Peyton is still a good QB. It just got out played by the players prepared for
the Saints. Their game plan just knocked the Colts back on their heels. Who thought
anyone would be crazy enough to do and onside kick in the middle of the game. Pure
Brillance.

Yea i agree. How can you sign someone like Eli Manning to a 90 million dollar contract and he has no where near the talent his brother Peyton has. Guess the Giants go a reall good glimpse of what there 90 mil golden boy will be like this last season
