Florida basketball tied with #2 Michigan State!!!!!!
I don't believe it, I don't believe it, I don't believe it

They WERE leading....by like 7. Then MSU tied it up.
Also, Raymar Morgan doesn't know how to play basketball today, and our point guards put some butter on their hands.

C'mon Spartyyyy. KALIN LUCAS TIME BABY. Goddamnit. I can't even watch the game. I don't know what to do.
Let's just get it into OT, then we can win it there. Izzo's teams are usually beasts in an extra-session.
I think we are also. We're not a #2 right now, IMO. We get so much better as the season goes on, but I think we're more a #5 or so in the country.
Not at all saying your bad though. Great team. #2 is just a little over the top. We'll see I love watching NCAAB later in the year anyways.
At this point in time...they probably are. But then again, so is almost every team in the nation that gets publicity.
But I agree that MSU is overrated. They should probably be in the 4-6 region, not 2.

YAY! Beat 'em! YAY! Beat 'em! YAY! Beat 'em! YAY! Beat 'em! YAY! Beat 'em! YAY! Beat 'em! YAY! Beat 'em!
Hate to continue to point this out about the Spartans but...
Florida's guards: 4-22
Florida's forwards: 21-39
Florida was a pitiful 5-24 from behind the arc, yet they manage to score 77 points. And this is a Florida team that has been pretty dependant on their guards to score this year.

Which? I made many.
And shutup.
I SAID SHUTUP.
The only thing I am content with right now is our team ALWAYS gets better as the season goes on. We have a tough schedule though, non-conference, and the Big 10 may very well be the class of the NCAA this year.

Your Big 10 Outlook one. http://rootzoo.com/threads/view/NCAA-Football/Big-Ten-Conference/2009-Big-Ten-Outlook-Michigan-State-University-Football_265943
I predicted (that we disagreed on):
- a 7-6/8-5 team that could very easily flounder to .500 (at 6-6)
- that they would lose to Notre Dame, Wisconsin and Illinois (lost to 2)
- that Central Michigan was a trap game (lost)
- underdogs against Minnesota (lost)
- would start slow and finish strong (1-3 to 5-3)
- defense would still struggle (25+ PPG)

I overestimated them. Thing is, CMU and ND could very easily have swung in our favor, and 8-4 wouldn't be a stretch. Wisco is always a tough one, I was just optimistic. I didn't see the Minnesota loss coming at all.
And then we hit the perfect onside kick against ND the following week, and throw the INT :(
Plus, we had the CMU game won on the missed FG, but the goddamn offsides penalty.....FUCK.
lol, bittersweet season, don't get me started.

I'm hopeful that we may have some inside presence this year.
I'm not even thinking about it, though. Biggest win since we beat Ohio State for national title #2.

Believe it or not, the Gators were only 4 point dogs. Don't know if that says more about MSU or the Gators, but given the neutral site, it's pretty telling.
