I know its early but its never to early to strike up some controversy. I will do this alphabetically from West to East so bear with me. I'm going to give a probable record, at best and a worse record following.
West:
Alabama- probable 11-1 at best 12-0 at worse 9-3. Alabama has a pretty tough schedule going to South Carolina, LSU, Arkansas and UT. In the one loss I dont see Alabama getting beat by Florida in Tuscaloosa but one of these teams might be the Achilles heal. The offense looks to be the best ever in Alabama's history and defense will reload quite nicely with some great young talent.
Arkansas- probably 8-4 at best 10-2 at worse 7-5. I really like the Razorback team this upcoming season. They have some tough road games with USC, Georgia, and Auburn but I think they win 2/3 and loose to Bama at home. Depends on how the defense comes together. Their offense will be very potent with the return of Mallet and some key WRs.
Auburn- probable 8-4, at best 9-3 at worse 7-5. The Tigers will improve but only slightly in Chizik's 2nd year. I think this is still a very similar team to the 2009 Tigers but only with some young talent riding the pine. From this years recruiting class it looks like the tigers went pretty heavily on the offensive side of the ball but this may not pay off immediately considering what league they play in. The defense is still very porous at LBs, Cbs, and Safety
LSU- probable 9-3 at best 10-2, at worse 8-4. LSU has UF and Bama on the schedule this season which is almost positive for 2 loses. Throw in North Carolina to start the season and traveling to Auburn and Arkansas there is bound to be another loss esp. with loosing some key starters.
Mississippi State- probable 4-8, at best 7-5, at worse 3-9. I mean what can you say? Mullen is trying to change some things down in Starkville but its going to take a little longer than some may think. I think they improve by a small margin but 2011 will really shine for the Bulldogs and how Mullen has progressed.
Ole Miss- probable 8-4, at best 9-3, at worse 6-6. New QB and rebuilding the offensive line could be detrimental to Houston Nutt and his staff. I dont see the Rebels being any type of threat to upset anyone this season but their season will be made playing Auburn, Arkansas, and LSU. If they can win just one of those games they will finsh 8-4. If not its a .500 record and step back for the program.
East:
Florida- probable 11-1, at best 12-0, at worse 10-2. The Gators have a pretty weak schedule considering they travel to Bama and to FSU so even with a reloading year for the Gators they should finish strong. I see one loss to Alabama in week 5 but other than that we are on yet another collision course for the third rematch in ATL with Alabama.
Geogia- probable 8-4, at best 9-3, at worse 5-7. The Bulldogs of GA are on a downward slide, just how far are they going to skid. With a new QB and the loss of some backs (but may be a blessing) you can never tell how the youngsters will manage the game. The defense should be improved but only by a fraction that they need to compete for the East Title again. I think 7-5 actually does them more justice but 8-4 seems fair.
Kentucky- probable 7-5, at best 8-4, at worse 5-7. UK has pretty favorable schedule playing Louisville, Akron, W Kentucky, Charleston Southern and Vandy. I think u can pretty much put those in the bag. Uk's swing games are crucial. I think they actually beat MSU and UT this season to put them at 7-5 and another trip to a bowl. This would be great for first year coach Joker Phillips and the UK program.
South Carolina- probable 8-4, at best 10-2, at worse 7-5. Spurrier better get his head on straight if he wants his membership at Augusta. There are many grumbles coming out of Columbia. I think if he dont finish 2nd in the East he will be forced out of position and I mean he will have to win 9 games before bowl season. He has some talent to make a pretty decent run in the East this year but I dont think its going to be enough to take down the Gators. South Carolina has some of the most intriguing swing games this season that will shape the SEC. The travel to Auburn and have Arkansas at home. They also play UGA in Columbia so keep an eye on the gamecocks.
Tennessee- probable 5-7, at best 6-6, at worse 4-8. UT will take a step backwards this season. Their backfield and many O-line starters are not returning and their defense will be missing Rico McCoy and Berry which are their best two offensive players as well. Starting a freshman QB in the SEC is nearly suicide for your team. Throw in an underachieving coach and a mediocre staff and you have the concoction for a dismal season that looks to be on the hands of the Vols. Dooley has it in his blood but this season is going to be overwhelming for the first year coach in the toughest league.
Vanderbilt- probable 2-10, at best 4-8, at worse 0-12. Vandy might have one of the hardest schedules considering who they are. They play Northwestern, UConn, and Wake Forrest in their out of conference games. I honestly dont see this team winning anymore than 2. Anything over 2 wins will be a great year for Vandy.

Nice job.
I hope South Carolina can hit the 10-2 mark. I highly doubt it will happen. I'm seeing 8-4 or 7-5. If the Gamecocks finish 8-4 and win their bowl game I think Spurrier stays for one more year, but if he doesn't finish 2nd in the SEC East then I agree with you and say he's gone. He came here to win the SEC and hasn't even got close to that yet.

I really think they have legit chance at making some noise this year. I dont think that 10-2 is too much of a stretch for this team. Either way if Alabama wins the West, the SEC championship will be a rematch because it's either going to be USC or Florida in that game which is very beneficial to whoever lost the first time around. I could see the SEC beating themselves for the NC this season for some weird reason and I dont like that at all but it is what it is and will never be nothing more.
I sure hope Spurrier can pull out a good season. I know he can do, he's done it before, but for some reason he just hasn't had much luck at SC. Not many people do have a lot of luck at SC. I know its early but I see Bama beating whoever wins the SEC East. I sure hope the SEC don't beat themselves.
these look great. I agree with most. I think SC could be 1 though, with Florida losing their offesnive and defensive.
It's going to be fun to watch the East unfold this season to say the least but Florida just has so much talent and team speed. If USC has a chance it's this year. I hope they do win the East and regain recruiting in the state of South Carolina over Clemson. I hate the ACC to be quite honest with you.
yeah it will be fun to watch. by the way, i meant to say "they are losing their top offensive and defensive leaders".
yeah i knew what you meant. Florida does loose a lot but they are stacked with all kinds of talent. By far the deepest team in the nation when it comes to speed.
