Well, the EPL is drawing closer and closer to an end now with about 70% of all games played by the end of tomorrow. The race for the title is wide open with Chelsea holding on to a slender 2 point advantage over Man Utd. Arsenal lie in 3rd, a good 9 points behind Chelsea and widely thought to be OUT of the title race. However, tomorrow's results will paint a clearer portrait of Arsenal's fate.
Surprisingly, Liverpool have found themselves BACK in the top 4 with 44 points. They can thank Tottenham, Aston Villa and Man City for slipping up. However, let's give Liverpool some credit as well, they have been playing well as of late and are on a 2 game winning streak. Even still, Liverpool are not safe at all as they only have a 1 point cushion. Tottenham are right behind them with 43 points in 5th place and Man City and Aston Villa are on their heels with 41 points each.
A lot of that can shift around depending on the results of tomorrow's match ups. So let's take a look at what we got on the plate:
Arsenal vs Liverpool - I kinda feel sorry for Arsenal. They have so much potential year after year but can't seem to do enough. The loss of Van Persie has hurt this team drastically. They really don't have a true striker. Not only that but they've been dealt a rough stretch of games in a row: @Aston Villa(draw), vsMan Utd(loss), @Chelsea(loss) and now they host an on form Liverpool. This is a crucial match for both teams. Arsenal need a victory to give themselves a glimmer of hope for the title, and Liverpool need some sort of points to stay in the top 4 hunt. We definitely have the ingredients of an exciting match.
prediction: Arsenal 2; Liverpool 1
Aston Villa vs Manchester United - Ideally, Aston Villa would love to come away with all 3 points here at home. Ideally, I'd love to bang Adriana Lima. Fact of the matter is, both me and Villa will have a hard time accomplishing that. However, IT IS NOT IMPOSSIBLE!!! Villa are capable of beating Utd, only problem is Utd are in spectacular form. They are fresh off bulldozing Portsmouth 5-0, and before that took care of Arsenal 3-1. Wayne Rooney seems unstoppable right now and you can pretty much put money on him scoring at least 1 goal every game. This should be a great game to watch.
Prediction: Aston Villa 1; Man Utd 2
Everton vs Chelsea - These guys always seem to put on a show whenever they face each other. Earlier in the season they gave us an exciting 6 goal thriller that ended in a 3-3 draw. Chelsea cannot get complacent, they need to keep their foot on the petal and make sure that they keep their distance from Man Utd. In order to do that, they need to keep winning. They cannot sacrifice any points because you have to assume that Man Utd are gonna continue to win their games. Everton are fresh off a loss against Liverpool and Chelsea need to provide the knock out blow here.
Prediction: Everton 1; Chelsea 3
other meaningful match up: Tottenham vs Wolverhampton - Tottenham should win this easily 4-1. Man City are playing Bolton as we speak and are winning 1-0.

Hahahh allright allright.
Arsenal is hopeless. I don't think they rebound from that slump to win it. I see Chelsea winning 2-1 instead of 3-1 but not like it makes a huge difference.

I feel bad for Arsenal too. I think what they need is veteran leadership on the field.
Adriana Lima? anything is possible.
Arsenal 1-0 over Liverpool ( is over for Arsenal if they draw or lose)
AV 2-1 Over MU
Chelsea 2-0 over Everton
Tottenham 2-1 over Wolves

I agree, they have too many youngsters. They need a seasoned vet to provide some leadership. Sol Campbell? lol
I like your AV prediction, I'd love to see that come true.

wow, I just got back from work and saw all the scores...I hate Everton. Arsenal find themselves back in the hunt huh
This seems to almost be a routine for Arsenal. They tend to stay in contention for the most part, but sizzle down the home stretch.
Huge win for City today and their CL hopes.
I think the Arsenal - Liverpool game, while not for the title, is the biggest game tomorrow. Arsenal needs to rebound from their recent disaster and Liverpool could grap a huge result (and save their season by holding onto the #4 spot)

Wow, what a crazy day for the EPL all over the table. First off, City's win yesterday was huge for them as far as a top four finish goes and the Liverpool loss helps even more.
Obviously Arsenal is right back in the hunt after both Man U and Chelsea stumbled today. Even more, that win by Wolves really hurt them seeing as they could've jumped City and Liverpool.
Even at the bottom, there is now a logjam for the relegation zone. Hull's win this weekend seems almost forgotten now as they are only 1 point out of relegation and everyone below them has games in hand.

yeah, talk about one big clusterfuck. Today just shook everything up. Man City have 2 games in hand so they have to be favorites to finish 4th. All of a sudden Arsenal's not dead yet thanks to Chelsea (WTF?)
